ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The applicant must have successfully completed the 12th standard (2nd PUC from Karnataka state or its equivalent) as recognized by Bangalore North University. All admissions to degree programs are subject to approval by Bangalore North University.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission:

• Original 10th standard and 2nd PUC or equivalent marks cards.
• Original Transfer Certificate from the last school/college attended.
• Original Migration Certificate (for non-PUC Karnataka students).
• For students from reserved categories: caste certificate and family annual income certificate issued by a Tahsildar authorized by the Government of Karnataka.
• Two sets of photocopies of each of the above documents.
• Passport-size photographs (recent, not older than one month) – six copies, and stamp-size photographs – two copies. These should be placed in an envelope with the applicant’s name and stream written on it. (Ensure the background of the photographs is light-colored).
• Eligibility Criteria Certificate issued by Bangalore University for candidates from foreign countries or those who completed 2nd PUC or its equivalent abroad.

Documents Needed:

• 10th/SSLC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• 11th / I PUC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• 12th/PUC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• Transfer Certificate with caste/category mentioned – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates, Karnataka students only)
• Photographs – 6 passport-size + 4 stamp-size
• Anti-Ragging Affidavit on a Stamp Paper worth Rs. 20/-
• Students from other Boards/Universities (other than Karnataka PU Board) should also submit:
  
  • Migration Certificate – Original + 2 sets of photocopies

Important Points to Note:

• Admission to any undergraduate program is based on the student’s merit. PNC Degree College reserves the right to select its students.
• All admissions are provisional and subject to Bangalore North University’s approval.
• PNC Degree College will not be responsible if Bangalore North University rejects a student’s admission, and such students will not be eligible for a refund of fees, either fully or partially, or claim any damages.
• It is the responsibility of the student and parent to ensure the student’s eligibility for the undergraduate course prescribed by Bangalore University before seeking admission to PNC Degree College.
• A minimum of 75% attendance in each subject is required for a student to appear for the University exams at the end of each semester.
• Students who fail to maintain at least 75% attendance in one or more subjects will not be permitted to appear for the exams and must reapply for the same semester in the following academic year.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited in any form. Students found involved in ragging or with a history of such behavior or criminal activities will be expelled from the college.
• Students and parents must adhere to the rules and regulations of the college. In case of disputes, the college’s decision will be final and binding.
